NetThreats (NT) was established to serve as a clearing-house to disseminate Internet related threats, hoaxes and criminal complaints and to further alert the Internet community to potentially serious or dangerous activities. NT was intended, and continues to emphasize, serving the interests of the broader Internet community.

NT Mission Statement
NT's mission is to serve as a vehicle to confirm or debunk rumors, hoaxes, or legitimate complaints regarding the rapidly expanding arena of internet related crime. NT gives the Internet community a convenient and easy-to-use research mechanism that coordinates and filters internet alerts from a wide sampling of official sites.
